| D.o.b. 17th August 1943 Evangelist / Hymn-writer/ Song Writer/ Poet and Composer. Prayer Coordinater for Young Life International (Runcorn) UK. Director of Voice Ministries, incorporating Voice Publications & Sheer Joy Music. Two books of Christian verse were jointly awarded a ‘Highly Commended’ certificate in November 2007’s Christian Broadcasting Council Awards ceremony. The award was presented for the ‘Best Christian Poetry Book’. He has written over 275 worship songs, composing the music to several of them, and also about 40 secular Songs, working in collaboration with Michigan-based Composer, Greg Scheer. A team of composers work with him in respect of the worship songs, in addition to which many of them are set to existing hymn tunes. Most recent publication is ‘In Praise of Him Eternally’, published in May 2008, which is his eleventh collection of verse to be published. He has two CDs of Meditations currently available, In Praise of Him and One Starlit Night. His songs have been recorded by many different artistes, including: Susan Marrs; Cantoris, Lyra, Jennifer Douglas, Alan Watson, Grace Bawden, Darren Mullen, Charlotte Kerce and Milli Alaira. RECENT RELEASES INCLUDE: Songs of Worship and Taking it Easy; two great CDs with the smooth voice of Alan Watson He’s Always With Me, featuring the rich tones of Charlotte Kerce If Only I Had Wings, recorded by Jennifer Douglas and also by both Grace Bawden and Milli Alaira Come & Sing, a CD of congregational singing, featuring 12 of his worship songs. There is Joy by Cantoris, recording 15 worship songs. Beautiful Sound by LYRA, recording 16 worship songs in Russian, and recorded in St Petersburg. When I’m With You Susan Marrs sings 11 love songs.
